Educational Trips
We observed that children in slums are not connected to the outer world in the same way as children from families with an economically sound background. They haven't explored the world that way and hence their dreams have been limited to only what they have seen. To give them a fair understanding of the world we planned at least one educational trip every year. We took them to the Boxing match, Science museum, Zoo, Various competitions, etc. Seeing their happy and amazed faces at these places was quite soothing. Children have also learned a lot from these places especially from the science museum. We hope we can plan many more educational trips like these and children enjoy them.
