When metro cities with advanced healthcare facilities struggled to address COVID 19, how will our villages survive this deadly virus?

Right when we thought the worst is over, COVID-19’s second wave invaded India. This time the calamity is not only limited to cities but the deadly virus found its way to reach to far flung villages of India. What is worst? The lack of basic healthcare facilities! Imagine you are in a need of oxygen on immediate basis but the nearest hospital is 60-80 kms away. Lakhs of innocent villagers are losing their precious lives due to the lack of basic medical aids such as medicines, oxygen cylinders, concentrators, limited ambulance service and more. There is also a huge shortage of necessary sanitation items - masks, gloves, and more.

With earning members locked away in cities, families in village also lack hard cash to avail any if made help available.

They can’t pour their emotions on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to ask for help to save lives of son, daughter, father and mother… Should they give up on hope to receive help?

CI Foundation is working closely with Organisations which are working in rural, tribal and uphill areas to ensure adequate supply of necessary healthcare items. We act as a bridge to connect the medical demand of villagers with the resources, so that lives can be saved. We need your support to share donation in whatever capacity you can.

Keeping in mind the current situation, we are flexible in receiving any kind of help. You can transfer money or send across oxygen cylinders, concentrators, N-95 Masks, sanitizers, or whatever you feel will help the rural brothers & sisters to save their lives.
